meet the dream team
Kindness is our super power
What happens when you combine a team of talented women and set them loose in a home filled with treasures? Magic. That’s what. We’re super good at making each and every item we sell look its best, getting the right buyers to line up to bid and handing things off to new owners with an unmatched level of service. Our goal is a seamless experience from photoshoot to pick up (and beyond).
We love our customers! Check out glowing reviews from happy bidders.
Our Team
It takes a village and this village is the best in the business.
Katie MacKenzie
Owner
Katie has always been keenly interested in old things, starting with literature and history, and later scouring antique shops for treasures. The reselling bug started with college textbooks, morphed into children’s resale and later turned into a successful eBay side hustle. She started Bird’s Nest Auctions in July 2020 in the interest of building a family friendly work schedule. In addition to raising two boys with her history teacher husband and running things at Bird’s Nest, Katie is busy building up her chicken empire and dreaming of one day building a combo greenhouse/cattery.
Sue Antinoro
Consignment Manager
Sue is a seasoned online seller, having two decades of experience in platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Marketplace. With a flair for social media, online research skills, and a knack for administrative tasks, she navigates the digital landscape with ease. In her downtime, she indulges in her passion for landscape photography and ocean-themed activities. She also cherishes every moment spent with her children, who never fail to spark uncontrollable laughter and happiness, both literally and in her heart.
Heather Noonan
On-Site Auction Manager
Heather found birds nest auctions by a little twist of fate on the craigslist “gigs” page in early October following the close of her gardening season. The gig not so slowly turned into rewarding and fun filled days with the amazing woman that make up the birds nest team. She loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and being a small part of their life transitions. She is a lover of art, vintage and antiques. Her camera roll is always full. In her off time you can find her at the ocean, in the garden, traveling, playing music with friends and being an aunty to her amazing niece and nephew.
Cheryl Cravino
On-Site Auction Manager
Cheryl brings to the Bird’s Nest team a background in Creative Marketing Design with a love for vintage upcycling and gardening. As an artist, she combines those loves to create unique art pieces displayed throughout her gardens. She credits the many years and many trips to the Brimfield shows and local flea markets for many of her favorite pieces; including her collection of nearly 300 old spice tins.
Jamie Santuccio
Business Development Manager
Jamie came to Bird’s Nest Auctions following a move back to her home state of New Hampshire after more than a decade in Boston. With a background in nonprofit operations and events, she loves to see projects through from start to finish. When she’s not working, you can find her cooking, hiking, doing pottery, and spending time with her family.
Madison Young
Client Services Coordinator
After earning her bachelor’s degree in education and spending several years as a teacher, Maddie discovered a new passion for the auction industry and joined Bird’s Nest Auctions in 2025 following the birth of her son. She found a perfect balance between her love of helping others and her appreciation for unique, meaningful items. Maddie enjoys getting to know each client and customer, hearing their stories, and helping them showcase the special pieces that make their homes and collections one of a kind.
