
Bird’s Nest Auctions is a woman-owned business based in Londonderry, NH, with the mission of helping people liquidate household contents quickly and easily.
Openings are currently available for Auction Assistants. This position is for occasional hours as needed during the week and some weekends. Ideal candidates are looking for bonus money (not full-time income) and for a casual, low-key work environment.
We are currently only reviewing applications from candidates who live near Londonderry, NH.
The job involves going to client homes, within an hour radius of Londonderry to assist with photography of the items in the house; everything from furniture to china cabinet contents to sheds and garages. Some familiarity with vintage and antiques is required (non-professional familiarity okay!). Previous experience using eBay, Poshmark or another reselling site is helpful.
Once photos are taken, you will use our auction software to catalog the photos. Training will be provided. This part of the job can be done from home.
You will also be assisting with pick up days, which take place after an estate auction closes. This involves organizing items ahead of the pick up, and helping winning bidders find their items.
Most shifts are anywhere from 2-6 hours. Photos are often done in the mornings, pick up dates can vary (some weekends).

- the ability to focus, stay on task and organize and sort large volumes of items
- proficiency with iPhone camera/photos
- comfortable using a a computer to upload photos and write descriptions
If you can hit the ground running and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you! Please note that this position does require lifting boxes, bending down and standing for long periods of time. You will be spending time in basements, garages and sheds (in addition to the main house).
This is an independent contractor position. The pay is $22 per hour.
