SELL YOUR HOME CONTENTS QUICKLY AND PROFITABLY

Downsizing is a lot of work. Leave the selling part to us.

We know you’ve already put in a lot of hours going through rooms, closets and boxes. Once you’ve decided what needs to go, leave the selling part to us. There’s nothing to do except cash the check!

Who we help

Downsizing

We help clients who are downsizing to a smaller place and need to sell 50% or more of their home’s contents.

Full Estates

We help estate executors sell the entire contents of a home. Our transparent process is helpful for organizing with other family members.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a sale minimum?

We generally look for sales that will make at least $5000. If you aren’t sure if you have that much stuff to sell, you can send us photos or video, or we can set up a complimentary site visit.

How do you determine the prices for items?

Pricing is determined by the bidding. It is possible to set a minimum bid amount, however we recommend using Auction Ninja’s default setting, which is to start all bidding at $1. This gets more people participating in the sale, and that ultimately has a net positive effect on the sale’s bottom line. We allow up to three items with minimum bids in our auctions. We would not recommend an auction for clients looking to price individual items.

What is your commission?

For sales that make under $5000, we have a 50/50 split. For sales that make over $5000, it’s a 60/40 split (60% to the seller). We have lower commissions for cars, boats, fine art and gold and silver. We do not charge any up front fees.

How quickly can you help?

We book out anywhere from 3-8 weeks in advance, depending on the time of year. Spring and Fall are the busiest.

What is the best time of year to do a sale?

We run auctions year-round. Participation is more a function of what’s in the auction as opposed to the time of year. If you have items people want, they will bid! That said, Spring and Fall are busy times of year in the estate sale industry, meaning more competition for sale views. January-March can be a great time to hold a sale as there are fewer competing sales.
